On a Christmas weekend in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Pia was strolling down the road when she came across a tiny and emaciated canine, deserted and coated in sores throughout, submissively hoping to die. She knew she needed to help him immediately.

The canine was so feeble that it appeared he wouldn’t survive the night time. Pia sobbed as she carried the motionless canine to the veterinarian, and he or she rushed away. However the canine’s spirit had already been damaged by abandonment at this level. He confirmed no response to any therapy, and his lifeless eyes betrayed a demeanor of defeat.
